Hello Joseph,

In the paragraph here:

“Don’t just write one article and post it on 10 different article sites. Instead, write 10 different articles and post them on 10 different sites. Make sure you mix up the anchor text of your links as well.”

What do you mean when you say to mix up the anchor text? Use 10 different anchor texts if I submit the article to 10 sites ?

So i have read signature links can be classed as spam, be very careful with having too many.

I have one website in Dmoz, i managed to get this in the Dmoz directory about 10 years ago. I have tried since to get my other blogs in there but no such luck.

does anyone know if it’s still being monitored?

I am getting good enough traffic from google but not from bing or yahoo. is both bing and yahoo use the same algorithm that use google to apply page rank ?

Hi! I do agree with you that submitting your site to DMOZ is a waste of time, in recent times.
Try to get links from niche directories which are relevant to the content of your site. Niche directories tends to be more visited by ordinary internet users than general directories. I think you have forgotten about links from relevant forums. Do you think signature links are not good backlinks source?
