As long as it is a good quality directory, then yes it should be fine. There are many poor quality directories, and I think this confuses people. These poor quality directories should be avoided, but not high quality ones. If you look at a decent sample of what has been included and see good quality sites, then it is worth being included.

A lot of SEO experts think directory links have fallen out of style.

Personally, I think their value should not be underestimated, because after all, they are a backlink, and when used correctly help in ranking your site.

At the end of the day, the main reason I believe directory submissions are potent is because search engines look at directories too.

Google, Yahoo and Bing all reference the online directories to build their own search indexes, and if it’s good enough for them, then it should be good enough for you.
